Paradise Ranch LLC opened their doors in 2011 with the mission to provide mental health services to families in need. They thought "If someone needs services and cannot pay, we can just do the sessions for what they can afford." They had no idea just how many families were in desperate need of mental health services; families that had no other means of getting help. By 2013, 40% of Paradise Ranch clients were unable to pay or had lost funding source (insurance, respite, ect.) it became apparent the need was becoming too great for Paradise Ranch to support for free. Paradise Ranch needed to make a decision: discontinue services for those who didn't have funding to make more time slots for those who had the funding for services, or find funding for those who were in the most need but didn't have the resources... The Paradise Ranch Foundation was born.
